I first rode a motorcyle in 1955, neighbours D1 Bantam, and started riding on the road in 1959 and have never been without a machine since. Tester at BSA in the sixties, in the warranty and service department, an enjoyable time, all the latest bikes to ride without buying them, but the failings of the British motorcycle industry was in evidence even then. Nearer 60 than 50 now, widowed in 1997, have three daughters, and seven grandchildren, t who all conspire to ensure that I am kept on my toes. |

Was told about the RBR in 1996 and achieved a 'Special Gold', at the presentation dinner my late wife was adamant that 'we' would get a doorstop (Norton Rotary Rotor) for a 100% allrounder, the following year which we did, unfortunately Lynn was not to see it. I have secured 100% allrounders since. |
